sergirodriguez.dev is a personal website run by Sergi Rodriguez, based in Barcelona, Spain. I am the data controller for any personal information described in this policy. You can reach me at contact@sergirodriguez.dev about anything on this page, including to exercise the rights listed below.
Cookies
sergirodriguez.dev does not use cookies. This site is fully static and sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services, and stores nothing in your browser. Fonts and images are served directly from this site, so browsing it does not send your data to any third-party tracker or content provider, beyond the hosting described below. External sites you visit through the links here may set their own cookies.
Hosting
This site is served by a third-party hosting provider whose servers automatically log technical request data, such as your IP address and browser, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. I do not use these logs to identify visitors.
Data collection
sergirodriguez.dev is a static site with no user accounts and no database. The contact form is the only place where you actively provide personal information, and doing so is entirely optional. Any information you send is used solely to reply to you, and is never sold, rented, or shared with anyone beyond the service described below that is needed to deliver your message.
Contact Form
The contact form collects your name, email address and message. When you submit it, this information is sent from your browser directly to Web3Forms, a third-party form delivery service based in the United States, which forwards it to my email inbox. It is not stored on sergirodriguez.dev. Web3Forms processes the submission on my behalf under its own privacy policy, so submitting the form involves a transfer of your data outside the European Union; it retains a copy of your submission for 30 days, after which the copy is deleted from its systems. The message that reaches my inbox is used only to respond to your enquiry, is kept only as long as needed for that purpose, and is then deleted.
Legal basis
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, I process the details you send through the contact form on the basis of your consent, which you give by choosing to submit the form. The technical request data logged by the hosting provider is processed on the basis of the legitimate interest in operating and securing the site. You are never required to provide personal information in order to browse sergirodriguez.dev.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to the personal data I hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time, which does not affect processing carried out beforehand. To exercise any of these rights, contact the webmaster and I will respond within one month. If you believe your data has been handled improperly, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.

This policy may be updated if the site changes. Any new version is published on this page with a revised date below.
